順酐:目前次于苯酐和醋酐的第三大酸酐，主要用于不飽和聚酯樹脂、醇酸樹脂。

另外還用于農(nóng)藥、醫(yī)藥、涂料、油墨、潤滑油添加劑、造紙化學(xué)品、紡織品整理劑、食品添加劑以及表面活性劑等領(lǐng)域。

以順酐為原料可以1，4-丁二醇（BOD)、v-丁內(nèi)酯(GBL）、四氫呋喃（THF)、馬來酸、富馬酸和四氫酸酐等一系列重要的有機(jī)化學(xué)品和精細(xì)化學(xué)品，開發(fā)利用前景十分廣闊。

我國2003年表觀消費(fèi)量約為21.1萬噸。其消費(fèi)結(jié)構(gòu)為:不飽和聚酯樹脂對(duì)順酐的需求量約占總需求量的71.1%，涂料約占6.2%，酒石酸約占3.8%，潤滑油添加劑約占0.9%，農(nóng)用化學(xué)品約占1.4%，琥珀酸及斷約占2.4%，BDO、TFH等加氫產(chǎn)品約占2.8%，其他方面約占11.4%。
